On 23 September, the Chaplain-President was delighted to pay his compliments to Mgr Steven Wielands, vicar-general of the Diocese of Malines-Brussels, and Deacon Koen Jacobs, diocesan officer for ecumenism, in the beautifully renovated Archbishop's Palace in Mechelen. There was much to discuss concerning fostering ever-closer ecumenical relations between Catholics and Anglicans in Belgium.
