On 3 December, the Chaplain-President, in his capacity as Bishop Robert's adviser for EU affairs, attended a seminar at the European Parliament hosted by the European Policy Dialogue Forum, whose eurospeak title: "Promoting multi-stakeholder partnerships for migrant inclusion: an interreligious perspective" heralded what was in fact a most interesting series of presentations on how religious communities within the EU both offer new and established migrants a sense of deep belonging and - through the local interfaith dialogue encouraged by the leadership of almost all the faith communities - a sense of openness to the diversity and pluralism of European life. The Anglican Church wishes to play a full part in this interconvictional dialogue and the social belonging and cohesion it produces.
