The commemoration of the Armistice of 11:00 on 11th November 1918 has become in Anglican practice an annual opportunity to remember before God and neighbour all those whose lives have been cut short or damaged in human warfare, and to give thanks for all those who have fought and died in the service of peace, freedom, justice and brotherhood.
